Fire Safety Division

What we do:

  • Manage the University's compliance with the State Fire Prevention Code and other applicable fire safety laws and standards
  • Provide fire safety education and training
  • Investigate all fires that occur on University property
  • Perform plan review and construction inspections
  • Conduct annual fire alarm tests
  • Maintain the fire extinguishers on campus

Life safety is the primary objective of the Fire Safety Program; through proper education and training, making sure the campus remains safe is our priority.
